A 14 year old girl from Stafford is celebrating after reaching the final stages of a top modelling competition. And now Sophie Taylor, of Castlefields, needs your help to be crowned Teen Queen (Princess) UK, 2010. The Blessed William Howard student was ‘spotted’ at the Clothes Show, recently held at the NEC in Birmingham. The pretty teen, who also works in the town’s Soup Kitchen at the weekends, impressed judges so much during the first round that she has been put through to the final stages of the London based competition, which is also being filmed as part of a two part documentary for the BBC. Teen Queen UK gives girls like Sophie the chance to give the world of modelling a go and take part in a photo shoot at a top London studio. Sophie has now been put forward for a public vote, which will determine whether she goes through to the grand finale on August 2010. If Sophie wins, she will be given the chance to ‘face’ campaigns by known fashion and beauty brands, and will be introduced to top modelling agency Rage Models. l To give Sophie a chance of getting that dream modelling contract, she needs your votes.
